How to Get to Butterfly Valley?

To go to Butterfly Valley, you must first go to Ölüdeniz. You can reach the valley by renting a boat from Ölüdeniz or by boats departing from there to the valley. A ticket must be purchased for the boat ride, which takes approximately 30 minutes. The cost of the purchased ticket covers both roundtrip and return trips. Tickets are purchased on the boat and a card is given for free return. Transportation times to Butterfly Valley by boat are as follows:

From Ölüdeniz to Butterfly Valley at 11:00, 14:00 and 18:00,

Transportation from Butterfly Valley to Ölüdeniz is provided at 09:30, 13:00 and 17:00.

It is also possible to reach Butterfly Valley by road. However, in order to get to the sea part of the valley by road, you have to walk since it is not possible to reach the seaside part of the valley by car or minibus.

What is the Best Time to Go to Butterfly Valley?

Butterfly Valley, one of the most eye-catching spots of Fethiye, is flooded with visitors in every season of the year. However, the best time to visit Butterfly Valley is generally between April and October. However, it is recommended that those who want to swim in the sea should go in the summer months.

There is only one establishment where you can stay in Butterfly Valley. Accommodation options in Butterfly Valley are as follows; camping area, bungalow houses or stone houses. However, the business does not provide service out of season. The business only operates between 1 March and 1 November.

Those who want to choose the camping area can set up their own tents or have the opportunity to stay in the tents offered by the business. Visitors who wish to stay in their own tent are charged only for space and service fees. All these accommodation options also provide breakfast and dinner services. Breakfast is served between 08:00 and 10:00 in the morning, and dinner is served between 20:00 and 22:00 in the evening. Bungalows are generally for two people and all have air conditioning. There are shared shower and toilet areas for bungalows. However, large bungalows have a shower and toilet area inside them.

Children between the ages of 0 and 12 are not charged for accommodation. P discount is applied to the 13 – 16 age group. In addition, discounts are offered on accommodation services only for early bookers and students.

Camping in Butterfly Valley

For those who want to stay completely free of charge, there is a camping area with a magnificent view behind the Butterfly Valley beach. There are two ways to enter Butterfly Valley. One is by sea and the other is by road. For those who want to come by sea and explore the valley, the Butterfly Valley entrance fee is 25 TL for 2024. Those who choose the land route can only watch the valley from above. There is no entrance fee for this.
